Five good reasons to learn to play ukulele

  • It's easy to learn
  • It's affordable
  • It's portable
  • It's fun and friendly
  • They just sound great

The group meet three times a month for an hour. Paul and Martina, two local musicians, are responsible for teaching everyone about the songs, the chords, strum patterns and rhythms. Paul accompanies the group on guitar and Martina plays the ukulele. The basis of most songs are chords C, D and G; however, new chords are added regularly. Everyone is encouraged to sing along and suggest songs to learn. No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to learn and participate. It is great fun!
